Alex attended The University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture, where he received a Bachelor of Architecture, Magna Cum Laude.
His work has received many awards, including 2nd place in the Dezeen x Samsung Ambient Mode Design Compeition, first prize in an international ideas competition for the project (proto)PRISON, three Fort Worth AIA Honor Award, an Austin AIA Honor Award, and three UTSoA Design Excellence awards along with multiple other nominations during his time at UTSoA.
Before college, Alex studied at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn where he confirmed his love of architecture, design, and travel. During his time at UTSoA, he also studied at the Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Architecture in Paris, and spent many months traveling throughout Europe, the Middle East, and India. Alex has worked for Rogers Partners , Peterson Rich Office, Murray Legge Architecture and REACH Architects.
He is currently a freelance designer and visualizer in Houston, Texas.
